Deutsche Telekom has owned a stake in T-Mobile USA, Inc. since 2001. T-Mobile USA, Inc. became a wholly-owned subsidiary of T-Mobile US, Inc., one of the largest wireless carriers in the Unites States in April 2013.

T-Mobile’s 4G LTE network - America’s Fastest - continues to expand, covering 265 million people at the end of 2014, exceeding the original year-end target of 250 million.

The Company is targeting coverage of 300 million people by year-end 2015. T-Mobile US, Inc. has been trading on the New York Stock Exchange since 2013 under the ticker symbol TMUS.

T-Mobile USA and the American company MetroPCS combined operations on May 1, 2013. The merger quickly began driving growth for the Group. The Group recorded significant customer growth on the back of its successful "uncarrier" strategy.
