Your data is always available, everywhere

The TelekomCloud concept covers all Deutsche Telekom's Internet services which make files and information available online - in the Cloud. Users can access these services without being tied to specific technical platforms. They can use their personal data and applications on all devices anywhere where the Internet is available: on a computer, notebook, tablet PC, smart phone or TV. Telekom is opening up new possibilities of leading a networked lifestyle, this is another component of its “Fix – Transform – Innovate” strategy.

Everything on tap, everywhere and always
The heart of the TelekomCloud services is the Media Center with 25 Gigabytes of free online storage space. Users can store their photos, videos and music and other files there and access them from anywhere. Vacation photos, for instance, are always to hand if you want to show them to someone. The Media Center also has benefits when it comes to backing up important documents: it provides security that meets German Technical Inspectorate (TÜV) requirements. A Share function allows users to share selected content easily with other people. What is more, links with other applications ensure convenient operation: tracks purchased in the Music Shop, for instance, are automatically saved in the Media Center and can be played back on your smart phone using the Media Center app.

Always up to date
E-Mail Center is another TelekomCloud product. It allows users to access their e-mails, appointments and addresses at any time. A smart phone Sync function automatically synchronizes this data on all your devices to make sure that it is always up to date. TelekomCloud’s MyPhonebook service also saves phone numbers and addresses created by the user online automatically on request and syncs them. If you lose your cell phone, your data remains safe in the Cloud and can easily be transferred to your new phone. Other products such as the Norton 360 Security suite and parental control software also ensure secure access to all Cloud services.

Cloud functions for everyone
Telekom is a pioneer in providing Cloud services: its corporate customer arm T-Systems has been providing companies with Cloud functionality under the brand name “Dynamic Services” since 2004. TelekomCloud means that now consumers too can reap the benefit of the market leader's many years of experience and obtain secure services from a single source: all data is stored on servers in Germany and is subject to strict German data privacy guidelines. Telekom's broadband network ensures the availability of services and data is hosted by Telekom's 100%-owned subsidiary Strato.
