  • Lettering: "Yes, I can!"

    Since 2009 the "Ich kann was!" ("Yes, I can!")-initiative supports projects and organizations that facilitates children and adolescents aged 9 to 14 years. Within the projects children and young people are encouraged to recognize and strengthen their own potentials. Employees of Deutsche Telekom have founded the association „Ich kann was!-Initiative für Kinder und Jugendliche e.V.“ in 2011.

  • Logo "TelefonSeelsorge"

    Since 1997, Deutsche Telekom provides the two numbers 0800/1110111 and 0800/1110222 from mobile and landline for callers and organizers of the organisation Telefonseelsorge (telephone counseling) for free. In addition, employees support with voluntary work.

  • Logo "Nummer gegen Kummer"

    Since twenty years Deutsche Telekom supports the organization "Nummer gegen Kummer", a child helpline, financially and with technical know-how. Telekom pays all connection costs and the technical implementation of routing and anonymity of calls and internet requests.

    Deutsche Telekom supports the program, "Geh' Deinen Weg" ("Go your way") by the German Foundation of Integration.

  • Logo "DKMS - JEDER EINZELNE ZÄHLT"

    Since 1994 Deutsche Telekom supports the German Bone Marrow Donor Center (DKMS) with regular typings at their locations. The company also assumes the cost of 50 Euro per typing for the employees. About 6.500 employees have already registered for the database.

    Deutsche Telekom is supporting the Lebenshifle (life support) since 2010. Regular common activities within the framework of "engagement @ telekom" and "Responsibility wins" take place - as well as in form of active help at Social Days or competence-based.

    Telekom is supporting the Bundesverband Deutsche Tafel e.V. (organisation that collects food) since 2009 with donations of money and equipment. In 2010 and 2011 Telekom was awarded for the "Bundestafelteller".

    In a German television show Telekom CEO René Obermann promised to collect at least half a million old mobile phones within ten weeks. As a result Telekom realized the largest mobile phone take-back campaign in Germany. The beginning of a successful partnership with the charity organization "Ein Herz für Kinder".

    Since 2004, Deutsche Telekom supports the NGO "Aktion Deutschland Hilft" with emergency aids.

    Together with Deutsche Telekom BAGSO target rates for seniors. In the "European Year of solidarity between generations and active aging", Deutsche Telekom launched the competition "The Internet: Not a question of age!" on the Safer Internet Day and finished it on the SenNova.

  • Logo "Deutsche Umwelthilfe"

    The cooperation between Telekom in Germany and the "German Environment Aid (DUH)" existed since 2000. The central themes of the cooperation are the common system for mobile redemption, the sustainable design of telecommunication products and the support of best practice projects for conservation of biodiversity through the nature conservation fund "Living Forests".
