The Group’s total revenue in the first three quarters rose by 2.8 percent year-on-year to EUR 46.7 billion.
Group EBITDA adjusted for special factors declined by 1.1 percent to EUR 14.7 billion due to declining domestic revenue.
Net profit adjusted for special factors was EUR 2.2 billion, compared with EUR 3.0 billion in the first nine months of 2006. The decrease was significantly influenced by the write- down of brand names and customer bases (Purchase Price Allocation) in connection with the consolidation of PTC and tele.ring.
Free cash flow increased to EUR 5.8 billion at the end of the third quarter - a 52.4 percent increase year-on-year.
