Vital data to hand, even on the move
Mobile measuring modules ensure patients remain safe even when they are on the move.
Add-on modules are turning smartphones into digital health managers. Since August 2011, some 350 Telekom Shops throughout Germany have been selling various VitaDock measuring modules made by Medisana.
Using a free app, users can read out, analyze and store their vital signs such as blood pressure, blood glucose levels, pulse rate, temperature or weight on their smartphone. This data stays on their personal device and is not automatically forwarded to third parties. The example of GlucoDock - the module for analyzing blood glucose levels - demonstrates just how simply this works.
