(Frankfurt Interbank Offered Rate) Interbank interest rate for one-month to twelve-month money. This is calculated daily on the basis of quotations from 19 credit institutions (a separate quotation being given for each maturity).The two highest and the two lowest interest rates are discounted and the mean value is calculated on the basis of the remaining quotations.
