- LIBOR

(London Interbank Offered Rate) Interbank interest rate for one-month to twelve-month money. The LIBOR (or the various LIBOR rates for different maturities) is calculated daily on the basis of quotations from a number of credit institutions seated in London. The highest and lowest interest rates are disregarded, and a mean value is calculated from the remaining quotations.
