CeBIT 2014: Business Marketplace expands its cloud portfolio with professional software for small and medium-sized companies

  • Strategic partnerships with Sage Software GmbH and Perceptive Software Deutschland GmbH (formerly SAPERION AG)
  • "TeamLike" for successful collaboration in the cloud
  • Additional products as a package with DeutschlandLAN Connect

At CeBIT, Telekom is expanding its range of innovative cloud software in the Business Marketplace. In addition to new strategic partnerships with Sage Software GmbH and Perceptive Software Deutschland GmbH (formerly SAPERION AG), Telekom will introduce "TeamLike" - a new social network application for collaboration in the cloud that it is launching in partnership with Mindsmash GmbH. In addition, business customers can now also book selected software bundled with fixed or mobile contracts. One highlight at CeBIT is the new partnership with Perceptive Software Deutschland GmbH. In the Business Marketplace SMEs can book the digital document archive "SAPERION fileNshare" for editing files online or sharing them with colleagues and clients via iPad. All content is hosted in secure data centers in Germany. Another product being launched is the "einfachLohn" ("easyPayroll") application from Telekom’s partner Sage. Companies simply enter salaries, working hours and employee absences directly in the cloud using the online payroll tool and the software creates pay slips automatically. Legal notifications such as tax registration and social security notifications can be generated and sent directly from the application. Furthermore, the Business Marketplace offers a new application for collaboration from the cloud. The software 'TeamLike' serves as a social network for companies to improve communication and collaboration among colleagues, partners and clients. Users can create working groups, collaborate on projects, store and share documents online, chat, and create wikis, blogs and Intranet pages. The information exchanged remains secure at all times, as the German-made software is operated by Telekom in highly-secure, certified data centers in Germany. From April 1, 2014, customers will be able to order cloud products from the Business Marketplace as a bundle with "DeutschlandLAN Connect". In addition to an IP-based network connection, each package includes the iMeet online meeting room for video conferences from the Telekom Cloud. Companies can then add their desired module from the Business Marketplace's cloud-based range. At the launch of the new range, this includes Office 365, security solutions from Symantec or online storage from Strato. With its broad portfolio of public cloud applications the Business Marketplace primarily targets SME customers, offering all services from a single Telekom source. Along with security, the most important characteristics are simplicity of operation and uncomplicated processing. Companies can trial all products for 30 days free of charge, with no obligation to buy. And whatever application our customers choose - Telekom remains the single central point of contact for all queries, help, advice and billing. The Business Marketplace has won several awards for its user friendliness, data protection and security. It was awarded the "Certified Cloud Security" seal by the tekit Consult Bonn GmbH and the TÜV Saarland Group, as well as the "Trusted Shops" quality seal.
