Find the right app right away: T-Mobile TopApps helps users of Androidbased smartphones find the latest interesting and useful apps quickly and easily. This new app simplifies searching among the vast offerings in the Android Market, which currently boasts over 20,000 apps - with numbers growing quickly. Good for developers: T-Mobile TopApps enhances the profile of new, particularly attractive apps.
TopApps shows ten selected apps - both free and available for purchase - from all sections, including entertainment, travel, social networks, communication and efficiency tools. The list of displayed apps is updated regularly. Any recommended apps that are already installed on the customer's smartphone are detected and not displayed. T-Mobile TopApps is available free of charge, exclusively for T-Mobile customers, in the Android Market starting April 2010. Deutsche Telekom will soon offer TopApps for other platforms as well.
The launch of the TopApps application reflects the implementation of Deutsche Telekom's app store strategy, which is aimed at giving customers more selection and increasing the user-friendliness of apps even more through fast, simple payment and use.
