Telekom's brand presence at IFA 2015: a fascinating world of experiences for the entire family

  • Deutsche Telekom launching the next stage of MagentaEINS at IFA
  • Brand presentation as enabler of digitization, transparent and customer-centric
  • Showcase series of interactive experiences will create exciting digital moments

At this year's IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin (September 4-9), Deutsche Telekom will present a world of experiences for the entire family under the motto "Home and mobile become ONE: MagentaEINS". Embedded in an interactive series of showcases that targets digital moments in everyday life, Europe's leading telecommunications provider will present a wide range of products and services on over 3,000 square meters of space, including the outdoor Digital Playground, in hall 21a – including smart home, convenient service solutions and new MagentaEINS product packages.

The brand presentation is characterized equally by the atmospheric staging of the world of magenta products and the numerous interaction scenarios that invite visitors to try them out, participate and be amazed. They can interact with the large-format wall hangings – for example, blowing on a wind sensor to trigger the projection of soap bubbles or virtually steer a stunt that is projected onto a mega-print. Interested visitors can even produce their own videos – in an actual helicopter at the center of the stand, a sure attention-getter. The helicopter is a symbol for the fast assistance provided by "Telekom hilft", Deutsche Telekom's comprehensive customer service on social networks.

"We see ourselves as drivers and enablers of digitization, characteristics we are highlighting here visually. With our interactive experience parcour, which targets specific digital moments in everyday life, we are presenting a wide range of topics," says Antje Hundhausen, Vice President 3D Brand Experience. "We want to send the message that we are an inclusive brand and interact with our visitors at eye level. We want them to feel good and see Deutsche Telekom as a dynamic, trustworthy company."

The central stage program will also invite visitors to participate, and not just watch. There will be games and shows, with attractive prizes to be won. The afternoon acts will provide special highlights. Appearances are planned by Adel Tawil (Sep. 4), as well as the German YouTube stars Bibi (Sep. 5), Julien Bam (Sep. 6) and Sami Slimani (Sep. 8).

Last but not least, this year's brand experience won't stop at the hall exit – the entertainment will continue on the Digital Playground: in the outdoor area in front of hall 21a, where Deutsche Telekom's stand will be located for the first time, exhibitions such as our smart home, Entertain to go and exciting partner campaigns like the Adidas Smart Ball Tunnel and Sony Skate Park will also invite visitors to get involved and join in.

Visit Deutsche Telekom's stand in hall 21 a at the IFA trade show in Berlin from September 4-9 for a live experience of our products and services. Deutsche Telekom's entire presence at the trade fair is carbon-neutral: All CO2 emissions generated in setting up and operating the stand are offset fully by CO2 reduction projects abroad.
