The success story continues – Speedphone 11

  • The simple and stylish way to call
  • Ergonomic shape and clean design
  • Optimized for use with the latest Speedports

It is functional and simply practical: The new Speedphone 11 is carrying on the tradition of its predecessor, the Speedphone 10 – the best-selling and most successful IP fixed-network telephone from Deutsche Telekom. Just like its forebear, it features a clean, uncluttered design, boasts tried-and-tested ergonomics and is very user friendly. Equipped with HD Voice, the Speedphone 11 boasts excellent voice quality, with a full, clear and natural sound, even when using the integrated loudspeaker mode.

The Speedphone 11 has been optimized for use on Speedport routers with a DECT-CAT-iq base station, such as the Speedport Smart and Speedport Hybrid, in conjunction with an IP-based line. There is no need for a cabled connection to the Speedport, and the fixed-network telephone can be positioned anywhere on a property, as long as it is within range of its base station. Installing the Speedphone 11 is very straightforward, thanks to simple, intuitive user guidance on the large backlit color display and the ergonomic, backlit keypad. Besides the usual telephone functions, the new Speedphone also offers features such as SprachBox voicemail, the Deutsche Telekom answering machine, baby monitor functions and a reminder and alarm function.

One handset is all users need – the Speedphone 11 is as versatile as they come. The new fixed-network telephone can be registered directly on a router with a DECT-CAT-iq base station and as an additional handset on a Speedphone 11 with a base station or a Speedphone 11 with a base station and answering machine. The Speedphone models with a base station can be run on all standard routers with an a/b interface or directly on a standard line, and are fully equipped for future technologies. For example, when changing to an IP line with a DECT-CAT-iq router, the handset can be deregistered on the base station and then re-registered on the router, thereby making the most of all the benefits that come with an IP line.

All models in the Speedphone series carry the independent “Blue Angel” (Blauer Engel) ecolabel. They are particularly energy efficient and low-radiation, and come with replaceable batteries.

The Speedphone 11 product range includes the mobile handset designed for use with the integrated base station of Speedport models, a model with its own base station for use with a standard line or standard routers with an a/b interface, and a model with a base station and answering machine. All models are available from September or October in the colors graphite, white and yellow through Deutsche Telekom retail outlets and specialist dealers for the price of 39.99 euros for the Speedphone 11 mobile handset, 39.99 euros for the Speedphone 11 with base station and 49.99 euros for the Speedphone 11 with base station and answering machine.
