T-Systems and Salesforce.com announce intent to enter into new strategic partnership agreement

  • Companies announce intent to expand partnership at CeBIT 2014

T-Systems and salesforce.com, the world’s #1 CRM platform, announced today at CeBIT their intent to enter into a new strategic partnership agreement. T Systems CEO Reinhard Clemens and salesforce.com President and Vice Chairman Keith Block confirmed their intent to bring Salesforce solutions to small, medium, and enterprise customers across Germany, Switzerland and Austria (DACH). The companies also plan to partner to provide industry-specific solutions for companies of all sizes across DACH. For T-Systems, this partnership with salesforce.com is an important step in the development of its cloud services. "Every company, small or large has to invest into the digitalization of their business models, to keep up with the pace of the digital age. To take advantage of the whole technology spectrum, companies need to be able to take advantage of new social, mobile, cloud, and connected technologies. T-Systems and salesforce.com intend to partner to make this a reality," explained Telekom board member and T-Systems CEO Reinhard Clemens. "Companies across Europe are turning to salesforce.com as their platform for growth and innovation, which is why salesforce.com delivered full fiscal year 2014 revenue growth of 41 percent in Europe," said Keith Block, President and Vice Chairman of salesforce.com. "Our announcement today with T-Systems is the latest in our continued commitment to bring our world-class Salesforce solutions to companies in Germany." T-Systems plans to extend this partnership to the rest of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) later in the year.
