IT recycling and new business models at the push of a button

  • Cloud service checks old IT applications for their cloud-capability
  • Complete platform for IT migration in just a few hours
  • Flexible and risk-free use of the latest industry solutions from the cloud

IT managers are under more pressure than ever before to bring their company IT up to date as quickly, cost-effectively and risk-free as possible. At CeBIT,
T-Systems is now presenting a cloud solution to help in this task: "AppAgile" checks existing IT applications for their cloud-capability and, within hours, provides a complete platform for their migration. Once connected to the virtual infrastructure, the IT is open for all clouds – whether private or public,
T-Systems cloud solutions or those of other providers. The Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution also allows new digital business models, for example big-data analyses or proximity marketing, to be implemented simply.

From April of this year, companies will be able to test the software offerings of various partners on the cloud platform and combine them securely. AppAgile also offers pre-configured, easy-to-access IT modules that enable fast integration, customization and also proprietary development of applications. A hospital, for example, can combine proprietary software for patient records with a document solution via AppAgile, and in that way better plan bed occupancy or personnel requirements. A complementary solution could anonymize the patient data, securely analyze it, and in that way attain new methods for the diagnosis and treatment of different illnesses.

Digital value creation without risk
Based on the same principle, AppAgile offers a ready-to-use industry solution for retail and industry networking. Thanks to the high degree of scalability of the platform, entire IT projects can be implemented in just a few days or, if the solution does not produce the desired result, removed again at any time. Customers pay only for what they actually use on an hourly basis. With AppAgile, companies can therefore make savings in the time needed to set up new IT solutions, and in the costs for testing and combining them.

T-Systems reviews all partner applications for their security and provides them exclusively from certified data centers and in accordance with German data protection law.

T-Systems is demonstrating AppAgile live at CeBIT from March 16-20 at Deutsche Telekom's stand C26 in hall 4. Deutsche Telekom's entire presence at the trade fair is carbon-neutral: All CO2 emissions generated in setting up and operating the stand are offset fully by carbon-reduction projects abroad.
