PAC ranks T-Systems as best in class for SAP Hosting and SAP Application Management

  • Above-average ranking for standardization and scalability
  • Global strategic partnership
  • The largest cloud hosting platform for SAP landscapes worldwide

Twice best in class, once largest provider in the market: the PAC analysts have looked closely at the German SAP service provider market and rate T-Systems as one of the leading providers of SAP Hosting and SAP Application Management.

In the Hosting – Operation and Management – category, T-Systems is, according to PAC, the largest provider at present and also ranks among the best. In seven out of eight competency areas, the analysts rate T-Systems well above the average. In the “Skills/ qualifications,” “Experience” as well as “Maturity & Quality of Delivery” categories in particular, PAC ranks the Deutsche Telekom subsidiary above the average. T-Systems comes in significantly better – in other words 50 percent plus above the average – with regard to the coverage of the SAP portfolio as well as the local and global data-center resources, among other things. T-Systems also figures among the best with regard to the maturity, variability and flexibility of the pricing models, the standardization of the hosting platform as well as the scalable resources – just as it does with support for integrating public IaaS solutions.

“In view of the extensive service portfolio, existing resources, competencies and references in the German SAP services market, large enterprises in particular should have T-Systems ‘on their radar’ as a potential provider,” recommends Karsten Leclerque, Principal Consultant and outsourcing/cloud expert at PAC.

Above-average quality of delivery
For SAP Application Management, PAC has examined the competencies for maintaining and upgrading SAP applications with predefined service level agreements. Here too, T-Systems remains well above the average of the 18 analyzed providers in seven out of eight competency areas. T-Systems stands out in particular as above-average, among other things, in “Skills and qualifications” as well as “Maturity and quality of delivery.”

Global partnership for SAP solutions from the cloud
T-Systems is a strategic SAP partner and holds multiple certifications as a global SAP partner for services, support, hosting and reselling as well as for SAP HANA. T-Systems operates the largest cloud hosting platform for SAP landscapes worldwide with almost 50 million SAPS and roughly 2.5 million users. Including traditional hosting, T-Systems provides about 60 million SAPS for some 3.5 million users. With Dynamic Services for SAP solutions, T Systems takes over operation of complex SAP landscapes for globally active companies from all industries from a certified and secure private cloud. The SAP applications provided are standardized, automated and fully scalable.
