Jet Aviation renews Cloud contract with T-Systems

  • Contract on SAP from the Cloud renewed by four years
  • Quality, price and long-standing partnership wins Jet Aviation over
  • T-Systems assists the aviation group with the procurement, maintenance and outfitting of aircraft

Jet Aviation, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, has decided to renew its contract on SAP from the Cloud with T-Systems in Switzerland by a further four years. T-Systems has been supporting all SAP applications used by Jet Aviation since 2007 and therefore supports the company with the planning of its corporate resources for the procurement, controlling, maintenance, repair and outfitting of aircraft. Jet Aviation purchases all SAP services as and when required and only pays for the actual utilisation of computing and storage services. This agile IT renders the aviation group's business processes more efficient, dynamic and speeds up development processes.

In addition, T-Systems will implement additional projects in the SAP environment with Jet Aviation and integrate its consulting services in the SAP environment. “I am pleased about our continued cooperation and value T Systems’ comprehensive know-how in the Cloud environment as well as in system integration and in SAP consulting”, explains Michael Baker, IT-Director at Jet Aviation, in relation to the contract renewal and adds: “Thanks to T-Systems’ cloud services, we have been able to continually refine our SAP environment for more than eight years, which is why we have once again opted for our trusted partner.”

Roland Stettler, Director Sales at T-Systems in Switzerland, adds: “It means a lot to us that we can continue to include Jet Aviation in our customer base and continue the partnership. Ultimately, we managed to convince with our marketable services and experience despite the intense competition and we will continue to support Jet Aviation with its business. By using cloud services, companies make gains in flexibility and expedience. They are able to dynamically respond to business development, which is why we are keeping up, especially in sectors such as travel, transport and logistics which are prone to fluctuation."
