DeutschlandLAN SIP Trunk: simple migration to IP telephony

  • New IP line takes over existing direct dial-in (DDI) numbers
  • Future-proof IP-based line can be upgraded at any time
  • Internet included – with unlimited flat rate and maximum bandwidth

Deutsche Telekom is presenting DeutschlandLAN SIP Trunk, its telephone and Internet line for business customers, at CeBIT. DeutschlandLAN SIP Trunk provides small and mid-sized enterprises with simple migration from ISDN to IP-based lines. Companies already using ISDN-based DDI lines can retain their call numbers and call number design when migrating to DeutschlandLAN SIP Trunk. Compared with a conventional line, DeutschlandLAN SIP Trunk supports – depending on technical availability at the customer location – the flexible addition or removal of parallel calls (voice channels). In addition to two parallel calls in HD voice quality, DeutschlandLAN SIP Trunk also includes an Internet flat rate plus a fixed IP address.

Flat rates for calls to the fixed and mobile networks
DeutschlandLAN SIP Trunk is available at a monthly net price of EUR 54.95 with a minimum contract term of two years. The basic package with flat-rate model includes two parallel calls with a flat rate to the German fixed network and to 18 other countries. The Internet flat rate with up to 16 Mbit/s is not subject to time or volume limits. The basic package also includes guaranteed fault clearance with a maximum eight-hour response time.

Services can be added on flexibly to supplement the basic package, including additional parallel calls (subject to availability) and flat rates for calls to mobile networks. As an alternative, DeutschlandLAN SIP Trunk offers budget rate plans, similar to a prepaid rate plan, for calls to mobile networks. Enterprises can increase Internet line bandwidth to up to 100 Mbit/s, depending on availability. Fault clearance of a maximum four hours are also available. The add-on option also includes the free Homepage Starter Business, which enables even small enterprises to create and run their own website easily. Thanks to the compelling modular add-on options, DeutschlandLAN SIP Trunk can be tailored flexibly to communications requirements and business growth.

To supplement DeutschlandLAN SIP Trunk, Deutsche Telekom offers compatible IP telephone systems and communications solutions, which are optimally tailored to the SIP trunk. A growing portfolio of routers and gateways will also help facilitate rapid, simple migration.
