- Mobile Device Management controls up to 100,000 devices
- Extensions to DeutschlandLAN, TelePresence and Managed IT Services
- New data rates for mobile high-speed Internet
Alongside the broad array of partner applications to which business customers will be able to subscribe in the Business Marketplace from summer 2012, enterprises also stand to benefit from other net-based solutions. These are available from Deutsche Telekom's Cloud Center. All solutions are hosted at Deutsche Telekom's high-security data centers in Germany.
Completely new is an application for Mobile Device Management. Up to 100,000 mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets or apps can be managed and controlled as required via a single platform. Mobile Device Management operates independently of vendors and supports practically all standard operating systems.
DeutschlandLAN, the all-in offer from Deutsche Telekom for PC, mobile and fixed-network communication from the cloud, can now also be used at low cost by smaller enterprises. From April, the company will be offering a startup package for three workstations. Along with synchronous Internet access based on a transmission rate of 10 Mbit/s, a VDSL version will also be available in the near future.
Another service that comes from the cloud is the live conference solution TelePresence, which can now be used with iPad 2, starting at a monthly net price of EUR 99. Deutsche Telekom also offers the MX 200 system from Cisco especially for smaller groups, which is available during a special promotion from as little as EUR 995 net per month.
Customers can also access updated Microsoft products from the cloud via Deutsche Telekom. Offers now include Microsoft Office 2010 for download as well as Microsoft Exchange Online 2010 and Microsoft SharePoint Online 2010. Furthermore, a new online backup solution is available, allowing all digital documents to be stored in encrypted format and therefore securely on the Net. Customers can manage their products and all users with the Cloud Manager.
With its Managed IT Services, Deutsche Telekom enables first and foremost larger SMEs to obtain their server capacity and mail services from the cloud. New here, for example, is the Managed Self Service Portal, which customers can use to book and cancel backup storage capacity. The new Managed Private Communications solution powered by WebFox equips businesses to make a clear distinction between their employees' private and company Internet usage and e-mail communications.
Many cloud services also come in mobile format and are optimized for different mobile operating systems such as iOS, Android or Windows Phone. Deutsche Telekom is therefore launching new rates for its business customers' data communications: Business Mobile Data in S, M, L and XL packages with up to 100 Mbit/s in the best mobile network.
Experience our products and services live at CeBIT from March 6 - 10 at the Deutsche Telekom stand in hall 4, stand D26. Deutsche Telekom's entire presence at the trade fair is carbon-neutral: All CO2 emissions generated in setting up and operating the stand are offset fully by carbon-reduction projects abroad.
