We are looking for an experienced or a senior colleague.
Main differences between the two levels are:

• 2/5 years in a similar role
• Complexity of issues and number of clients to handle
• Mentoring junior / experienced colleagues
• Providing On-Call support for the colleagues in 24/7 shifts

Responsibilities:

• Analysis, evaluation and escalation of events (security events resulting from network traffic, based on signatures, attack patterns) arriving through IDS/IPS systems based on IT security considerations
• Operation of IDS/IPS systems (troubleshooting, actualization of signatures and components)
• Supervision of Anti-DDoS tools, analysis and evaluation of incoming events
• Creation of IT security reports for customers
• Following and mapping of IT security actualities (vulnerabilities, 0day exploits) for the customer’s environment
• Active participation in the fine tuning of IDS/IPS and Anti-DDoS systems (filtering of false positive events based on attack patterns)
• Continuous contact with the German partner and the representatives of customers

Requirements:

• Experience in the operation of UNIX/Linux, Windows operational systems or networks
• Advanced knowledge of IP based networks (CCNA or similar level)
• Experience in application of ITIL processes (INM & CHM)
• Excellent command of English
• Knowledge about the functionality of different attack methods (DDoS, Brute Force, XSS, SQL Injection…)
• Webserver / Web application knowledge (TomCat, Apache, NGinx…)
• Basic knowledge of programming languages, code interpretation
• Good communication skills, proactivity, analytical thinking
• Certificate of good conduct

• Excellent command of German
• Experience in operation of IT security systems
• Experience in usage of security scanners and penetration methods
• Any advanced security certificate is a big plus (GSEC, OSCP/OSCE or equivalent)
