IT Security Engineer for OS GmbH

Accountabilities

• Conception, configuration and implementation of cloud vulnerability management solutions at the customer
• Development of security concepts and architectures for cloud platforms
• Compliance checks of cloud accounts (AWS, Private Cloud, Azure)
• Analysis, description and assessment of current threats from hackers and malware
• Derivation of recommendations for current threats or security gaps as well as tool-based vulnerability analysis
•  Development of practical countermeasures to threats
• Technical collaboration on national and international IT security projects
• Processing and documentation of security incidents using industry-standard methods
• Confident presentation of concepts, solutions in customer and negotiation situations

Skills:

• Master's/diploma in the field (computer science, business informatics or IT security) or bachelor's degree with adequate professional experience in the field of cloud security
• Min. five years of professional experience, of which at least three years in IT security projects with a focus on cloud security and vulnerability management
• Advanced knowledge of network analysis and vulnerability scan tools such as Tenable.io and Palo Alto PRISMA
• Security certifications for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) desirable
• Very good customer-oriented thinking and acting as well as a convincing and binding demeanor
• Very good presentation techniques and moderation skills
• Strong ability to present complex issues in writing
• Very high cooperation, team and conflict skills
• High flexibility, resilience and willingness to perform
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English

Requirements

Education

• Master´s degree in the field (computer science, business informatics or IT security) or bachelor's degree with adequate professional experience in the field of cloud security

Experience
