Be sure to take part and compete for the award – submit your thesis by December, 12th 2015! It is well worth: EUR 3,000 are awaiting the ultimate winner of the Women's STEM Award 2015.

What do you have to do? It's simple: Are you a STEM student? Are you enthusiastic about technology? Did your thesis focus on one of our future growth segments, such as Industry 4.0, Cyber Security, Digital Universe, Automotive Technologies or Networks of the Future? If so, we are looking forward to receiving your application.

Inventive genius does not depend on gender. Marie Curie, winner of the Nobel Prize, is certainly the best-known woman in the history of scientific research.  What's more, women were the inventors of the windshield wiper, the dish washing machine and the parachute. We are looking for graduates who share our excitement for innovation. That's why we founded the prize jointly with the audimax student magazine and the "MINT Zukunft schaffen" (STEM– creating the future) initiative.

Progressive thinkers and visionaries wanted

  • Who can take part? All women completing studies in STEM disciplines in Germany and Europe. There is only one special requirement: The topic of your thesis (bachelor or master thesis) must focus on one of the following topics:
  • Networks of the Future
  • Industry 4.0
  • Cyber Security
  • Automotive Technologies
  • Digital Universe

The latest addition to our list is Digital Universe: Did your thesis explore what is technologically feasible, and what may be possible beyond our current limits in the years ahead? Did you consider the opportunities offered by digitization? What about new ideas for developing new networks and application scenarios? Have you ever wondered how you can inspire people to drive new technologies forward? If so, that's great – and we are eager to read your thesis, which can be submitted in German or English.

Spread the word!

The overall winner of the Women's STEM Award will receive EUR 3,000. The winners in each of the five growth areas will be awarded EUR 500. Winners will be selected by a jury comprised of Telekom experts and industry researchers.
