Datacenter Floor Manager - Pro Rail
Your Tasks
Tasks:
- Manage floor and or rack plans
- Manage installations and removal of both equipment and cabling
- Manage strict access policies
- Manage the import and export of goods in the datacenter
- Maintain a safe and clean datacenter
- Guide and or coach non floor management staff to adhere to the data center rules
- Inform stakeholders about datacenter maintenance and incidents
- Manage the functional mailbox and request overview
- Directing planned activities of a third party in one of the technical ICT rooms
- Assessing and approving changes where physical work takes place on locations
- Keeping data center infrastructure materials in stock to be able to solve/ execute incidents within SLA and changes according to schedule
- Monitoring and improving the quality of the technical ICT Rooms.
- Processing the mutations for access authorization (with ProRail pass) to ICT areas.

Qualifications:
- MBO ICT Beheerder 2/3/4
- Certified Data Center Professional
- ITIL V3/V4 Foundation
- B-VCA (optional)
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid NL driver's license and own means of transport (no public transport or bike)
- Willing to run on-call/standby services
- At least MBO education
- Demonstrable experience with noth management and projects in the field of ICT Data Centers and Network Infrastructures (Cabling systems, energy technology and cooling systems)
- Candidate is used to working independently and result oriented.

About us
The TS NL Datacenter Floor Management team is overall responsible for the T-Systems datacenter infrastructure in the Netherlands and their main task is to keep the datacenters running in an efficient, secure and safe way. The team has 8 FTE (including the Datacenter Manager) which are working daily in the datacenter locations Oude Meer, Aalsmeer, Almere, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, to service the customers Shell Global Account (SGA), SOA People and Open Telekom Cloud (OTC):
The Floor Management team is responsible for the optimal set-up of the datacenter rooms and the optimal utilization of the floor space and power consumption. It is also the main focal point for all actions in the datacenter for the outside world and takes care of datacenter access, cabling, capacity planning and tape handling.
For our customer ProRail we are looking for a Floor Manager for a job-oriented assignment. The Floor Manager is responsible for the maintenance and changes that take place in the technical ICT rooms (NDCs, technical rooms in offices and VL posts).
