General Description

In Loadbalancer team, you will be working on Loadbalancing solution that 48 out of Fortune 50 companies use in their services. Their apps need

Loadbalancing and Application security technologies to help customers deliver applications and data in secure and redundant way.

You will be responsible to independently check, troubleshoot and solve issues related to Datacenter routing, implement new solutions based on

customer needs in order to maintain service to customers according to given quality KPIs (key performance indicators).

Accountabilities

What we look for:

1.Core platform knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge L3/L4 networking of OSI model
  • Working understanding of the TCP/IP and other L1-L7 protocols (DNS, SSL, HTTP) and apps that run on them.
  • Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Linux Shell Scripts, Java, Javascript, Python, Node.JS, etc) (advantage)

2. Advanced knowledge: (strong advantage):

  • Routing and Switching skills on CCNA certification level (Cisco CCNA 1-4) (advantage)
  • Loadbalancer technology knowledge on levels of F5 BIG-IP Administrator 101 (F5 - Application Delivery Fundamentals), or F5 BIG-IP Administrator 201 (F5 - TMOS Administration) is a very strong advantage, however ifnot there we can provide internal training
  •  Related platform knowledge: Scripting, Protocol security, Network protocols (ICMP, TCP-IP, HTTP/HTTPs), (advantage)
  • Overview of the ITIL processes
  • Strong logical thinking and troubleshooting talents.

3. Ideal Candidate should be able to fulfill most of the below:

  • Able to independently check, troubleshoot and solve network issues. Able to implement new solutions based on customer needs in order to
  • maintain service to customers according to given quality KPIs (key performance indicators).
  • Ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation of customers’ environment. Able to provide 1st and 2nd level customer support.
  • Execute project and other deliverables in order to fulfill KPIs and management requests.
  • Conformity with the internal work instructions and process guidelines within T-Systems.
  • Participate on regular and/or irregular communication with colleagues in an international environment to ensure operational goals.
  • Create and maintain documentation. Train and participate on education of other employees.
  • Perform team specific non-technical tasks such as quality/ process/ reporting to support daily operation.

 Salary

Minimum monthly salary is 815 € brutto + variable part of salary + other financial benefits.

The final basic wage component can be adjusted accordingly to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.
