Your Tasks

Key accountabilities
Lead Delivery Solution Manager owns the architectural design through the initial phases of the design (request, concept and high level), and hands over the design after customer order for detailed phases of the design to delivery management. Ensures that the work is always of the highest industry standards and qualities as set by T-Systems, and meets agreed deadlines.

LDSM needs to be adaptable, changes his approach and methods to meet differing circumstances and audiences. This senior role requires communication, negotiation and influencing skills at differing levels particularly with DSM Experts, Bid Managers, Sales Consultants, Enterprise Architects and Production locally and internationally within T-Systems, customers and suppliers.

LDSM creates solution, costing and approves proposal of the solution produced by the solution architecture team.
LDSM presents Solutions and Solutioning approach, up to board-level audiences (internal and external) and discuss the technicalities of the solution with the solution architecture team. LDSM presents multiple solutions and articulates chosen solution(s) with confidence and influence to customers.
LDSM identifies opportunities for adding business value via reduction of operational costs and improvement of service levels. Prepares T&T planning.
LDSM develops and presents storyboard to customers.
Regulary reviews the contract draft and documents the status in the deal checklist. In Request For Proposal defines staffing and key roles.
LDSM leads improvement programmes and Key Performance Indicators in terms of systems, process and tools to improve the overall Quality, Speed and Cost of T-Systems.
LDSM demonstrates ongoing familiarity with Market trends.
Acts as a facilitator and mentor to more junior members of team and others within the organisation. 

Management scope
Coordination and cooperation with different teams of DSMs, Solution designers, Costing experts, Bid managers in project mode and teams from production/provisioning and operation of over 15 people directly and over 30 people indirectly. This senior role requires communication, negotiation and influencing skills at differing levels particularly with DSM Experts, Bid Managers, Sales Consultants, Enterprise Architects and Production locally and internationally within T-Systems, customers and suppliers. This role mandates the leadership of a team of experts from third party partners, including the cooperation of stakeholders within the bid phase.

Responsibility for project proposal over 10 mil EUR.

Requirements
Education:

  • Master´s degree in Information technologies

Experience:

  • ICT Analysis, Architecture & Design - 7 years minimum

Certifications:

  • At least one certification from specialist enterprise

  • Enterprise technologies - Expert
  • T-Systems portfolio - Expert
  • Solution Design per platform - Expert
  • Project Management - Expert
  • ITO Calc / Resolve / IWC - Advanced
  • Service Description, HLD - Advanced

  • Proven Solution Architecture or Delivery Service Manager experience
  • Broad level of knowledge across enterprise ICT technologies, ideally will have depth of experience in one or more specialist enterprise technologies
  • An in-depth knowledge of the T-Systems Portfolio
  • Commercially aware, managing costs on own projects and across team and very large projects
  • Time Management – Self & Others
  • Is able to manage the prioritisation of their own workload as well as others and to be able to use management escalation when appropriate
  • Is able to plan work activities over medium and long term to support strategic activities and initiatives
  • Is able to lead a team on either a permanent or project basis.
  • Creates formal networks internally and externally
  • Is able to present complex ideas, concepts and technical solutions to high level non technical audiences.
  • Is able to anticipate potential objections and prepares case accordingly.
  • Is able to influence others, and has strong interpersonal skills
  • Acts as a facilitator and mentor to more junior members of team and others within the organisation.
  • Experience of Portfolio development
