About Procurement Department

The role of Procurement is to create value by driving world class Procurement excellence and supply chain excellence for cost reductions, spend management and beyond. Procurement is responsible to manage all external cash-out with vendors, irrelevant of applied business model across countries and across categories for the whole Group of Deutsche Telekom AG.

The Procurement team in T-Systems Netherlands is responsible for the external spend in the Benelux and supports in the Nordics. The team exists of 7 FTE with divers levels of seniority. We are working in close cooperation with Strategic Sourcing, Shared Service Centre teams and with Procurement colleagues in the European region.

Position description

Than you might be the person we are looking for! We have a vacancy for a fulltime Medior Buyer at our head office in Utrecht, Papendorp.

The Tactical Sourcing Manager is responsible to perform and steer stakeholder requests below defined clip levels and in accordance with defined eco-system / model of operation for the defined category. This covers demand clarification, alignment with Strategic Sourcing, performing of request, negotiation, awarding, trigger PO processing and documentation.

You will grow into the role as Procurement Deal- and Lifecycle Manager.

As a Medior Buyer you will have the following tasks:

  • Check responsibility for incoming demands and routing these  into the correct channel
  • Clarification of incoming demands 
  • Preparation of tactical sourcing initiatives in cooperation with the business
  • Align and finalize standard specification with requister
  • Perform long-listing from preferred supplier list
  • Perform tender / quotation requests, short-listing and negotiation with preferred suppliers
  • Take awarding decision and close, register and manage contracts
  • Trigger and manage PO processing for the tactical sourcing initiative
  • Document tactical sourcing initiative according to documentation guidelines
  • Education & Qualification

    Bachelor  degree or MBO+ with relevant working experience

    A Nevi certificate is a pre

    Fluency in Dutch and English (German is a pre)

    Good Microsoft Office Knowledge

    Experienced in eProcurement platforms (eSourcing- / ERP skills e.g. SAP MM, SRM, and Business Objects)
