The IDM (International Demand Manager) builds and maintains a well-functioning long-term relationship with a defined customer base (DTAG subsidiaries) and acts as a primary point of contact for the central IT infrastructure service portfolio. By consulting and promoting its products and services such as assessing the customers needs, it seeks to support its customers' business interests in a way that is consistent with DTIT's standardization strategy, including cost-effectiveness considerations. The customer needs and possible solutions are discussed with central architecture and other stakeholders. The IDM follows-up the solutions from the design phase through to implementation, informing the customers about the key milestones. In addition to a defined customer base the IDM is also responsible for a specific area (cluster) within the service portfolio where she/he coordinates global topics in close collaboration with other IDMs.

Main Tasks:

• Continuous and regular contact with the IT Management and dedicated counterparts of the DTAG subsidiaries
• Conclude service contracts and ensure that they are executed optimally for both the customer and DTIT over the lifecycle of the contract
• Preparation and alignment of data privacy agreements
• Evaluating requirements and cosnulting customers in regards the possible solutions towards the service portfolio
• Informing customers on the status of their requirements and ensure transparency
• Ensuring that deadlines and service levels are met
• Developing suggestions for improving services and reducing costs
• Supporting the introduction of new such as the retirement of EOL services
• Initiating and supporting IT infrastructure projects and monitoring their progress
• Continuously seeking and exploiting portfolio development opportunities and influencing the international Roadmap
• Conducting service reviews and customer meetings
• Supporting the international communication
• Supporting the annual budget planning of the customers to cover the central infrastructure service costs
• Supporting and monitoring the billing process
• Handling escalations

  • Broad knowlegde of IT solutions especially infrastructure services
  • Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
  • English C1/C2 - must have, because of a lot of communication with different countries globally
  • German C1/C2 - must have, because of a lot of communication with German counterparts 
  • Process orientation and analytical thinking
  • Organisational skills
