The fourth day of the trade fair in Hanover revolved around data privacy and data security at the Deutsche Telekom stand.
Most users are quite casual with their smartphones and tablets, and don’t think twice about checking their e-mails on the go or sending the latest financial figures to their colleagues on their mobile terminals. In the process, they fail to recognize a current trend: that cybercriminals are increasingly turning their attention to mobile terminals.
At the same time, security loopholes in mobile operating systems, such as Stagefright, are regularly in the news. Many companies underestimate these threats and do not sufficiently protect their employees’ devices. As part of the Magenta Security portfolio, Deutsche Telekom will now be offering "Mobile Protect Pro", an all-in-one protection service for mobile terminals, to companies of all sizes.
Protection from cyberattacks
SMEs will now have access to something that only larger companies and corporations could afford in the past: Going forward, Deutsche Telekom will be offering comprehensive protection against cyberattacks at the highest level. In Hanover, the Group presented a new solution from the Magenta Security portfolio: "Internet Protect Pro" will be offered through the Telekom Cloud in collaboration with American manufacturer Zscaler and protect every user, everywhere and on every terminal against online threats.
