Deutsche Telekom takes its responsibility as an international corporation very seriously, and is committed to basic social principles and values.
As well as championing universal human rights, Deutsche Telekom is also committed to the recognition of cultural, social, political and legal diversity, both in companies and of nations. These principles are anchored in a number of bylaws, including Deutsche Telekom’s Social Charter, its Code of Conduct, and the Sustainability Charter of the European Telecommunications Network Operators’ Association (ETNO), to name but a few.
The Social Charter also requires Deutsche Telekom’s suppliers to observe minimum social and ecological standards.
Compliance with supplier requirements is regularly monitored by in-house experts and external auditors within the framework of dedicated social audits.
