Sustainability: A key element in our company structure
An integrated governance structure helps us to closely interlink strategic management and operational implementation of our CR strategy throughout the Group.
Overall responsibility for sustainability lies with the Deutsche Telekom Board of Management. The CR Board and CR department are particularly vital when it comes to implementing the strategy and developing it further.
Group Corporate Responsibility (GCR) reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and acts as the Group-wide interface for all departments. It coordinates and manages the implementation of CR strategy in day-to-day business operations – in all business areas and national companies. The CR department is advised and supported by the CR Board when it comes to CR management and strategy enhancement.
The CR managers from the different business units and national companies are responsible for operational implementation. They collaborate intensively within the international CR Manager network where they coordinate their activities and share best practices.
