Do good and talk about it – and we're getting better and better at it! This is the result of a ranking by Leuphana University of Lüneburg in a study on "Internet-based sustainability communication and reporting by listed companies in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland)." Of the 70 major companies examined, Deutsche Telekom came in first place.
Information and interaction are very important to us, and that includes sustainability topics. After all, the only way to succeed with our social and environmental commitment is to work together with our stakeholders – from suppliers to customers. That's why we use all the channels available to us for communication, whether the Internet or personal meetings. The particular quality of our Internet work has now been acknowledged by the Leuphana University study. Communications and reporting information from 70 major companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland were examined based on 27 criteria in four categories: information supply, information accessibility, comprehensibility and dialog. We fulfilled 73 percent of the analyzed criteria, the best score of all the examined companies.
This proves once again that we are on the right track. And it's an incentive for us to continue to follow it resolutely.
