Previous national codes are becoming invalid Deutsche Telekom would like to point out that the telephone number system of the Czech Republic will be changed as of 22 September. The previous national codes will be reduced and precede the subscriber numbers in a modified way. All subscriber numbers in future will be nine digits long.

In addition, the new subscriber numbers can be obtained from Deutsche Telekom's T-Punkt outlets as well as by telephoning international directory inquiries on 11 8 34. The country code 420 for the Czech Republic will remain unchanged.
