Deutsche Telekom AG is nailing its colors to the mast when it comes to climate protection: Together with the EnergyAgency.NRW, the Group will be presenting current initiatives and trendsetting practical solutions for climate protection at Energy 2007 in Hanover from April 16-20, 2007. The use of alternative energies as well as the topic “environmentally-friendly mobility” will be to the fore. Visitors can obtain information at one of the multimedia terminals powered by fuel cells. They can play the energy-saving game “Energy Buster” on their mobile phone. In addition, visitors will be able to charge their mobile phone batteries at a fuel cell charging station.
Deutsche Telekom will be unveiling among others the “Cargo Bike” in Hanover. This fuel cell-powered mode of transport will be used by the Group’s Technical Customer Service. It ensures excellent and environmentally-friendly mobility of service staff in city centers as well as at trade fairs and events. The Cargo Bike is just one example of the initiatives and measures that Deutsche Telekom has launched in recent years in establishing itself as a forerunner in climate protection.
