Experience the best concerts live with MagentaMusik 360

Tickets sold out? Yesterday's news. Deutsche Telekom has showcased its new music service MagentaMusik 360 at the Rock am Ring music festival. MagentaMusik 360 delivers outstanding quality concerts via 360° livestream over web browsers, the app, and EntertainTV, so music fans will never have to miss their favorite bands again. MagentaEINS customers get a further exclusive advantage with immediate effect: MagentaEINS 11.0. The priority ticket program is available for selected concerts and gives customers an exclusive 48-hour window to buy tickets before they go on general release. This is all thanks to Deutsche Telekom's new partnership with Live Nation Entertainment, the world's leading live entertainment and e-commerce enterprise. Deutsche Telekom is also working with partner Samsung to provide the MagentaMusik 360 service.

360° livestreams for music fans – at home and on the move

With the legendary Rock am Ring Festival beginning at the Nürburgring today (June 2 to 4), fans have a unique opportunity to experience MagentaMusik 360 for the first time. Appearances by Toten Hosen and System Of A Down and plenty more bands and artists will be available to watch in 360° on the livestream – live or on demand via www.magenta-musik-360.de, the new MagentaMusik 360 app for iOS and Android and EntertainTV from channel 131 onwards.

“MagentaMusik 360 is a dream for all music fans and the future of music entertainment. The innovative 360° technology allows us to give people the opportunity to be part of unique musical events in a whole new dimension. In addition, MagentaEINS customers can purchase priority tickets for a number of popular live events,” says Michael Schuld, Head of Communication and Sales Marketing at Telekom Deutschland.

“This pioneering cooperation brings together the perennial interest in music, and up-to-the-minute mobile technology,” explains Live Nation GSA CEO Marek Lieberberg. “The two market leaders, one in the field of telecommunications and one in live entertainment, will provide MagentaEINS customers with absolute priority in the future when purchasing tickets for every Live Nation concert, show and entertainment event. These synergies will benefit not just the fans – they will be especially positive for the artists, who will be guaranteed additional attention, coverage and innovative live streams by Deutsche Telekom. It's a total win-win situation!”

MagentaEINS 11.0: Priority tickets available 48 hours before general release

Deutsche Telekom has another exclusive perk for MagentaEINS customers up its sleeve: MagentaEINS priority tickets for a wide range of music events are available to customers in Germany 48 hours before general release. MagentaEINS customers thus have a huge advantage when it comes to some of the most popular events. Up to four tickets per event can be purchased while stocks last. The MagentaEINS advantage is available immediately to all MagentaEINS customers with no further need for action and can already be used to book tickets for Sting's upcoming tour in September 2017, for example. Pre-sales exclusively for MagentaEINS customers will start at 10 a.m. on June 4.

“Products are a success when people use them,” says Lars-Oliver Vogt, President of Live Nation Brand Partnership & Media. “We think that, together with Deutsche Telekom, we have developed a package for MagentaEINS customers that is unique anywhere in the world: optimum access to the most sought-after concert tickets, fantastic concerts in live stream format, and the biggest festivals. I don't think there has ever been a service so tailor-made to meet the needs of music fans.”

The new entertainment platform www.magenta-musik-360.de and the new app MagentaMusik 360 for iOS and Android cement Deutsche Telekom's commitment to music and 360° entertainment. Selected music events will be shown exclusively using state-of-the-art 360° technology. Music events streamed live on MagentaMusik 360 will be available shortly afterwards for 30 days to watch on demand. A fee-based service is also planned for a later date.
