Sinus A 205 Comfort: user-friendly family telephone

  • Cordless phone with answering machine, large display and big keys
  • Optical call signal, vibration alarm, shortcut key for volume adjustment
  • Four programmable speed dial buttons on base station and mobile handset

Deutsche Telekom continues to add models to its new range of Sinus telephones. The latest addition to the portfolio is the Sinus A 205 Comfort, which features high user-friendliness and is therefore ideally suited for the elderly. Three important convenience features are the 38 x 38 mm high-contrast display, big keys and easy-to-read labels. Both the display and the keyboard are backlit. The mobile handset has a special key that enables users to raise the volume quickly if they are making calls in noisy environments or have impaired hearing. The phone is also suitable for persons with hearing aids. To indicate incoming calls, the Sinus A 205 Comfort has an optical display and vibration alarm alongside its various ringtones - both can be enabled and disabled as required. The device is energy-efficient thanks to a low-energy power unit. The Sinus A 205 Comfort base station is also very user-friendly, allowing to directly take calls by pressing a single button and call people via four programmable speed dials. This is very convenient when the mobile handset is not near at hand. Up to five mobile handsets of the latest Sinus range can be operated with the base station. The handsets are inter-compatible. Internal calls can be made free of charge, and internal phone book entries can be transmitted from one phone to the next, if required. The base station features an integrated answering machine, which records messages with an overall length of 20 minutes. The Sinus A 205 Comfort will be available from Telekom Shops and the Deutsche Telekom internet site for a price of EUR 59.99 from October 2011.
