Ferri Abolhassan, born in 1964, citizenship German, has been a member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom AG, responsible for the Group's corporate customer division and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of T-Systems since January 1, 2024.

Ferri Abolhassan has more than 30 years of experience in the IT sector: He holds a PhD in computer science from Saarland University. He began his professional career as a student trainee at Siemens in Munich before moving to IBM in San Jose (USA). From 1992, he worked at SAP in various management roles. After four years at the helm of IDS Scheer, he returned to SAP in 2005, where he was most recently Executive Vice President Large Enterprise EMEA.

In 2008, Abolhassan joined T-Systems as a member of the Management Board and took over the Systems Integration division. From 2010 he was in charge of production until 2013 when he was responsible for the entire delivery. From 2015, he headed the IT division with approx. 30,000 employees. From December 2015 to November 2016, he was also responsible for the development of the Telekom Security business unit.

In October 2016, Abolhassan joined Telekom Deutschland as Managing Director and headed the service division. In May 2021, he was also given responsibility for sales. He led the newly formed Sales & Service division, with all sales and service channels and 30,000 employees, until his return to T-Systems. 

Ferri Abolhassan is a volunteer Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), a member of the Altantik-Brücke and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Max Planck Institute for Informatics. In addition, he is a member of the Saarland Digitalization Council and an official Saarland ambassador.
