  • Highlights:
    In early April, Telekom launched the first Slovak operation of the LTE network in Bratislava with a maximum speed of 150/50 Mbps. Slovakia’s capital was covered by the LTE signal by the end of May. By the end of the year, Slovak Telekom covered 52% of the Slovak population with LTE network.

    Telekom opened its own AppShop for B2B customers.

    The Magio Beach opens for the eighth year in a row: The popular Magio Beach on the Danube embankment in Bratislava welcomed more than 200,000 visitors during 92 days.

    Slovak Telekom tests its LTE network in Bratislava at the speed of 300 Mbps: The LTE-Advanced standard, tested by Slovak Telekom in cooperation with Ericsson and Qualcomm, enables to double the theoretical speed of the network by combining individual bands of the frequency spectrum.

    Completed migration of voice call services to IP platforms: The project of transition to an ALL-IP operator took over two years and involved hundreds of employees from all divisions of the company. From December, all fixed-line services are provided on an IP-basis

T-Systems Slovakia s.r.o.

Since foundation of the company, T-Systems Slovakia has had its seat in Kosice and is very closely linked with this region. The company plays role of the second biggest employer in Kosice region, and it is known as a young, dynamic, fast growing company that supports education in ICT field and helps to develop the region in various areas.     In October 2012 the project SMART FC nearshore (FC NES) has started with the aim to provide a high quality and cost effective services in the field of finance processes, administration and operation. In 2014 FC NES celebrated its first year and a hundred’s employee. Nowdays T-Systems Slovakia has the biggest TSI finance location.
    In 2013 T-Systems Slovakia Fund was created. Main objectives of the porgramme include: establishing opportunities for education young talended people form the Eastern Slovakia region.

    T-Systems Slovakia started the project called ‘“AjTy” Senior in 2013. The aim of the project is to teach seniors from Kosice Region basic PC skills and to integrate them back into the modern society.
