Data analytics: When will my train get here?
T-Systems presents forecasting technology for scheduled transport services- Real-time passenger information on departure times
- Data analysis for entire public transport networks in seconds
Getting to the station just as the train arrives; that's exactly what travelers wish for whenever unforeseen events mean departure times are changed, resulting in unplanned waiting.
The service also continually compares theoretical timetable information with the current transport situation and the regular status reports from the individual forms of transport. This data is then used as the basis to forecast the probable arrival time and, simultaneously, the effect of this on potential connections.
