Homepage packages - generous storage and unlimited transfer volume

  • Deutsche Telekom’s website solutions now offer unprecedented amounts of storage space
  • Ideal conditions for exchanging large files via WebShare - service included starting with Homepage Basic
  • Unlimited transfer volume from Homepage Basic upwards

Quantum leap in service: Deutsche Telekom quadruples the included storage space in its Homepage packages, starting with the Basic version. In particular, the Group is drastically increasing the storage space available with its top solutions, Homepage Advanced and Homepage Professional. Also available to clients starting with the Homepage Basic package is an unlimited transfer volume for the virtual rush of visitors. The packages thus offer both private and business users enormous amounts of space for providing content and exchanging data - along with even more cost transparency and fail-safe planning. With this improved package - a first in the market - Deutsche Telekom is taking a clear position as a top web hosting provider.

Key product features at a glance:

  • In the Homepage Basic package, Deutsche Telekom quadruples storage space from 1 to 4 gigabytes (GB)
  • In the Advanced package storage capacity is increased from 2 GB to 40 GB
  • The increase in storage space in the Professional package represents a quantum leap: in that package, storage capacity jumps from 4 GB to 200 GB
  • With the exception of the Starter package, all solutions now offer unlimited transfer volume for page accesses and downloads. In the Starter package, the volume is being increased from 75 to 100 GB.

Customers using WebShare will benefit from the additional storage space and transfer volume. Deutsche Telekom is the only web hosting provider to offer this all-inclusive service, which acts as a platform for free data exchange. Business customers and consumers alike can use the storage space of their Deutsche Telekom website solution to exchange files such as large presentations and uncompressed videos with business partners and friends quickly and securely. WebShare does not impose size restrictions on the files transferred. Consequently, the application can be used for example when the file volume exceeds the maximum limit for sending or receiving e-mail attachments. In addition, Deutsche Telekom ensures optimum security during transfer. In contrast to free Internet services for data exchange, there is no risk of exchanged files lying around on just any server: files are protected and stored securely on the customer's web space at Deutsche Telekom's high-security data center. Because a password is issued and thanks to SSL encryption, familiar to online banking customers, this type of file transfer is more secure than sending files by e-mail. Since January 2010, WebShare has been included free of charge in the Homepage Basic, Homepage Advanced and Homepage Professional package solutions.

The Homepage solutions of Deutsche Telekom give consumers and business customers such as small business owners, attorneys and physicians ideal support in creating attractive websites. In just a few steps, clients can simply and easily build their own website - without any prior knowledge. Whether beginner or pro, with Homepage Starter (EUR 4.99 per month), Homepage Basic (EUR 9.99 per month), Homepage Advanced (EUR 14.99 per month) and Homepage Profi (EUR 24.99 per month), Deutsche Telekom offers the right solution for every need.
