Telekom Highlights from the “digital summit”

Today the digital summit (Digital Gipfel) of the Federal Government reaches its peak. After the prelude on Monday with panel discussions about intelligent networking, digital education or Smart City, today the digital transformation of the economy and digital health are on the main program.

Telekom is once again supporting the summit with a series of videos for the social media to provide citizens with an easy-to-understand insight into digitization. This year, a digital winemaker, the digital city and digital hospital are on our schedule.

Faster recovery thanks to digital medical reports

Thousands of files, tons of paper. This is what a hospital archive looks like today. But this is history in the Klinikum Mittelbaden. Here, doctors and nurses access the patients’ medical reports via iPad. And this means the end with file searches, illegible manuscripts or transmission errors. The bottom line is more time for the patients. They feel well informed and well cared, and this of course helps recovery.
