51 percent of all enterprises have been the victims of industrial espionage. At Hannover Messe, Deutsche Telekom is showing business enterprises how to defend themselves.

At Hannover Messe DT is presenting a range of IT security solutions.

Both large and medium-sized enterprises run the risk of becoming the targets of serious cyber attacks. More than half of the business enterprises in Germany (51 percent) have already become the victims of digital espionage, sabotage or theft, according to the Bitkom IT association. Figures show that IT security is more important than ever before. At Hannover Messe (April 24 - 28, 2017), Deutsche Telekom is putting a sharp focus on this topic and presenting a range of IT security solutions.

Manipulation protection for industry sites

When machines are intelligently connected with each other, they function smoothly and more efficiently while adding value for the enterprises involved. But at the same time, the danger that hackers can attack industrial networks and manipulate data communications increases. In many cases production outages can occur, thus making business enterprises vulnerable to blackmail. ESLOCKS4Industry from T-Systems is based on constant monitoring and immediately detects anomalies in data streams. The solution analyzes such irregularities through the application of machine learning data analytics algorithms. In the event of an attack, the system automatically launches defensive measures.

Network security for IoT & Industry 4.0

Network security for IoT & Industry 4.0 completely safeguards the communication of existing and future systems, eliminates blind spots in the production network, and protects digitization along the entire value chain. Enterprises can launch preventive measures via specific encryption gateways or firewalls. For example, a honeypot system can automatically identify attacks anywhere in a network and thus speed up response time.

CDPaaS for secure data encryption in the cloud

Sensitive data residing in the cloud requires extra protection. Cloud Data Protection as a Service (CDPaaS) effectively encrypts data before it is processed in the cloud. CDPaaS supports data access across domains, federated identity management, and a wide range of web applications. Harmonization with existing systems is not required (SaaS Ready).

Secure and efficient IoT with Quality@IoT

Quality@IoT from T-Systems provides enterprises with three service modules that enable them to use the Internet of Things (IoT) with security and efficiency. The first IoT test service ensures smooth communication "from the sensor to the cloud" with tests for interfaces, integration, and loads. This is complemented with security analyses of the IoT infrastructure and hardware-related penetration tests. IoT Integration Consulting draws up proposals for further developing the system, eliminating weak spots, and integrating additional hardware and terminal devices.
