Key accountabilities

  • Take technical lead in delivery of several SAP services and/or implementation projects and transitions
  • Coordinate maintenance and development activities related to non-standard SAP and/or portal implementations and/or interfaces (ABAP, ESS/MSS, ALE, PI, NW Java)
  • In all relevant services is able to provide consultations to customer or colleagues
  • Analyse the demand from the customer for SAP application customization/development to propose an appropriate solution and realization
  • Consult with module consultant and solution designer and propose the technical design of the new components for SAP applications
  • Develop new components for the customer’s application and/or completely new applications to satisfy customer’s demand
  • Debug programming code to find issues/errors on the application
  • Change and repair the code to restore the original functionality of application
  • Document changes on the system and design of new components to ensure their readability for future reference
  • Test newly added functionalities to avoid errors on productive system
  • Brings solutions in a fast and effective manner
  • Distributes tasks to more junior colleagues and coordinates their activities
  • Supports TL with inputs for decisions
  • Supports Solution Designers and Consultants with necessary insights, and or may be asked to supplement thier activities
  • Communicates effectively and independently with customer and other stakeholders to find appropriate solution to demand/issue
  • Train and Mentor other people in order to help them to grow and support additional services
  • Supports department cross-functionally in various technical and non-technical areas
  • Manage the team of developers around a service
  • Utilize technical and industry knowledge to identify complex client issues and build long-term business relationships and propose best solutions
  • May also be called upon as technical lead and functional project manager for customers’ company-wide SAP projects, participate on implementation projects
  • Check code of others to ensure high degree of code quality within the team
  • Provide best practices to the team for programming and implementing
  • Monitor, test and, if relevant, manage implementation of industry trends/innovative products to add value to customer as extension to existing system instances

  • ICT System - 5 years minimum
