Abir used to prefer writing about people rather than machines, and tech topics felt like a closed book to her. That she would one day write about network expansion, artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure would have been hard to imagine after her journalism training. That changed when she realized: technology only becomes truly interesting once we understand what it does to us.
