Maik Exner was born in Munich and, via several stations in Hesse, Hamburg and Bavaria, has now arrived in the Rhineland. After an electrotechnical apprenticeship, he completed his vocational baccalaureate with a focus on electronics and then studied to become a qualified journalist at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. During his studies he worked as a freelance photo and video journalist in the field of blue light documentation. In 2009, he joined a Telekom subsidiary as a permanent employee in the communications department. He then built up the communications department of Deutsche Telekom Technik GmbH and was responsible for it for several years. Today, he works as spokesperson for Deutsche Telekom AG and is particularly enthusiastic about everything to do with technology and networks.
