D. Hofbauer and M. Pieper join DT Headquarters

Davor Hofbauer and Mario Pieper join the "Marketing Strategy and Brand Management" team at Deutsche Telekom's Group Headquarters

Mario Pieper and Davor Hofbauer joined Dr. Jens Gutsche's "Marketing Strategy and Brand Management" team at Deutsche Telekom AG's Group Headquarters on May 1, 2004.

Mario Pieper, born in 1971, has been working for Deutsche Telekom in Group Strategy and Development since 2002. Prior to that, he provided the Group with consultancy services with a focus on the telecommunications and high-tech industry between 1999 and 2000 as senior consultant at Accenture GmbH, formerly Andersen Consulting, in Düsseldorf and Hamburg. Mr. Pieper heads "Customer Relationship Management" (new: MM3) responsible for cross-divisional customer strategies and relationship management.

Following his studies, Davor Hofbauer, born in 1974, held various positions with advertising agencies and publishing companies. Mr. Hofbauer provided Deutsche Telekom with consultancy services as strategy consultant at Diebold International Munich/Frankfurt from 2000 to 2002 and was in Group Strategy and Development at Deutsche Telekom from 2002 to 2004. Mr Hofbauer heads "Brand Management" (MM2).
