Digital replaces paper: DocuSign now available from the Telekom Cloud

  • Legally enforceable document signature from the highly secure cloud.
  • Digitization and data privacy in one.

Deutsche Telekom is expanding its cloud portfolio to include DocuSign's digital transaction management platform and electronic signature service. The U.S.-based global company specializes in helping organizations of every size and industry make the digital transformation, empowering anyone to transact business anytime, anywhere, on any device – completely digitally – that is both paperless and legally enforceable.

Deutsche Telekom now provides DocuSign services from its highly secure cloud in Germany and Europe, and also offers the necessary services as required. To do this, the company operates two data centers in Frankfurt and Paris. As part of the relationship, DocuSign will leverage DT’s House of Clouds.

The initial marketing launch of DocuSign by DT will take place in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The EMEA region will follow in 2018. Deutsche Telekom has held a stake in DocuSign since 2015. "The multi-pronged strategic partnership with Deutsche Telekom as an enterprise customer, reseller, investor and now as a data center provider is strategic to our Invest for Europe initiative,” said  Keith Krach, chairman of DocuSign. “Together we provide our customers with fast, paperless services on the DocuSign Global Trust Network, in full compliance with the European Union’s data privacy benchmarks and eIDAS regulation.”

"DocuSign is a key building block for companies that want to digitize their business processes," said Tim Hoettges, CEO of Deutsche Telekom. "We support our customers in their move to digitize their business with our high availability network and our cloud portfolio."

The DocuSign Global Trust Network has more than 250,000 companies and more than 100 million users across 188 countries, including T-Mobile US also who uses the company's digital transaction management platform and eSignature service to accelerate new customer sign ups in its retail stores and by its business sales team. A DocuSign document is created every second around the world.
