Germany’s largest Internet portal, t-online.de, is introducing its new self

Intuitively comprehensible and straightforward, up-to-date and exciting, full of feeling and entertaining: www.t-online.de, with its optical and content redesign, now offers a still greater Internet experience. The new "liquid design" adjusts automatically to the individual screen size and so provides a still clearer view for more than half of the users of t-online.de. "Our aim is to bring t-online.de still nearer to the center of the digital life of our customers. With the new look, we are making access to all services and content still clearer, simpler and more intuitive for our users," says Harald Eisenächer, Senior Vice President for Personal Social Networking at Deutsche Telekom. "We are thereby implementing Deutsche Telekom’s vision of connected life and work." Only recently, t-online.de was voted into the top position in the "Most Trusted Brands" survey by Reader's Digest, in which over 32,000 people were surveyed, including around 9,000 in Germany. New design: more clarity and feeling in news, topics and services Each of the theme and service portals is presented individually with a newly created design with large-scale images and graphics. Clear and slimmed-down structures provide more feeling and thereby also improve the user’s experience of t-online.de. More regional reporting: knowing what is going on in the area The regional reporting represents new content: through www.t-online.de users now also get all important information, fully up to date, from their home regions, in addition to current and competent reporting from Germany and around the world. Centralized access: easy-to-organize personal communication Personal e-mails, the weather forecast, own photos and videos as well as personal social media activities and many other online services can be accessed centrally in "My services" and organized in a personalized way. All elements grouped there are formed in a particularly straightforward way and are accessible quite easily through all channels, whether by PC, laptop or smartphone, or on TV via Entertain. More videos: simply click and view With a click on "video" in navigation, an overview can be obtained of all video channels of all themes. From here, hundreds of informative, exciting and entertaining clips can be selected and viewed: from current news to sport, from music, through lifestyle and technology to travel and entertainment. Furthermore, a large, standardized video player has been integrated for all channels, and handling multimedia has thereby been simplified further. With iPhone and smartphone: experiencing t-online.de on the go Thanks to iPhone App and a mobile version of the massive shopping range at mobileshopping.t-online.de, t-online will be a useful companion in the café, on the train or at the airport. Innovations in detail Many ideas and suggestions from users have been incorporated in the new design. The loading times for the pages are 33 percent faster. Furthermore, an ultramodern technology provides the greatest degree of flexibility and speed in the integration of innovative services and topic ranges. t-online.de therefore remains the reliable partner for its users - by PC, cell phone and soon, also, on TV via the Entertain IPTV service from Deutsche Telekom. The contact partner for advertising bookings on the new www.t-online.de is still InteractiveMedia, the marketer of digital advertising media with the greatest reach in Germany (according to AGOF internet facts 2009-III). On t-online.de, the company offers various new advertising formats: above all, advertisers will benefit from integration, with a high level of awareness, into the new, large-scale player, as well as the video range of the new t-online.de with its wide range of topics. Furthermore, with immediate effect, overlays and targeting for moving image campaigns can be booked.

Innovative product portfolio for connected life and work "Access to my world any time, any place." The new, integrated product portfolio focuses on universal access to applications, content and personal social networks, via any device and access network. Personal contacts, communications services or photos, videos and music can all be used and conveniently managed on a PC, Smartphone, or TV set. The products stand out thanks to excellent user experience, uniform design and innovative, intuitive user navigation.
