Parookaville is Germany's top festival for fans of electronic dance music. This year's event, which will take place July 20-22, 2018, features a lineup of the world's top DJs, including David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren and Hardwell. All in all, 200 DJs will play sets.  And Deutsche Telekom plans to stream numerous unforgettable sets live in the MagentaMusik 360 app, and in Germany's best mobile network.

"Parookaville is definitely a highlight of Germany's festival season”, says Michael Schuld, Head of Communications & Sales Marketing at Telekom Deutschland. “And we stream it live, in HD and in 360° formats, and via Germany's best network, to the fans who aren't able to attend in person.”

Festival co-founder Bernd Dicks adds: "MagentaMusik 360 streams coverage of Europe's best festivals – live and in top quality – to the fans who stay at home. We are delighted to have Parookaville be part of that program, as the only dance festival included, for the second year in a row."

Parookaville is unique in that it is set up as a festival city, complete with a city hall, post office, church, supermarket, boutique and an outdoor swimming pool. Its key infrastructure includes a 200-meter-wide main stage – Europe's largest festival stage – and ten stages in all. To be admitted, would-be "citizens" need not tickets but Parookaville visas and passports. Parookaville's "population" is expected to swell to 80,000 for the festival weekend.

In cooperation with its partner Samsung, Deutsche Telekom will present numerous DJ shows via free HD streams and in a 360° format. With multiple HD and 360° cameras recording the action, the streams can be expected to provide powerful concert experiences. The 360° format, which offers viewers full control over their viewing direction, provides an especially immersive feel. Numerous DJ sets will be available in the MagentaMusik 360 app, at www.magenta-musik-360.de and on EntertainTV (starting at channel 131, in the standard configuration). In addition, Deutsche Telekom plans to offer all festival visitors a top-quality festival service, including charging stations, a smartphone-repair service and free WiFi.
