Deutsche Telekom brings the Black Eyed Peas for an exclusive Telekom Street Gig to Germany. The US superstars will play a live concert in Cologne as part of DIGITAL2018 on November the 8th. The band around present songs from the new studio album "Masters of the Sun", which will be released on October 26, for the first time live to a German audience. The show will also mark the musical highlight of the newly created digital summit DIGITAL2018 as part of the cross-industry initiative DIGITAL X.
Telekom will show the performance in a free live stream and in 360 degrees in the MagentaMusik 360 app, on the associated website and on MagentaTV and the associated social media channels. MagentaMusik 360 partner Samsung offers an ideal solution for the 360-degree concert experience with the Galaxy S9 smartphone in combination with the MagentaMusik 360 app and Samsung Gear VR. Ideal for DIGITAL2018

Band with digital competence
The Black Eyed Peas as an energetic hip-hop band will give the congress a fitting conclusion. Not only singer and entrepreneur will.i.am is known for his digital competence. The band already caused a sensation at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes in 2011 with their digital performance, when two of the then four band members were on stage as holograms.
Actively shaping digitalisation
DIGITAL 2018 on November 7 and 8, 2018 is an initiative of Deutsche Telekom. As part of the Digital Congress for Business, Science and Politics at the Cologne Trade Fair, industry leaders, innovators, political decision-makers, experienced executives and start-ups will be discussing the progress of digitalization.
"With DIGITAL2018, we are launching a cross-sector initiative that has set itself the goal of not chasing digitization but actively shaping it," says Hagen Rickmann, Managing Director of Deutsche Telekom's Business Customers’ division. Several thousand participants are expected when top speakers such as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Prof. Dr. Miriam Meckel, editor of WirtschaftsWoche, former boxing world champion Dr. Wladimir Klitschko or CEO of Deutsche Telekom Tim Höttges give talks on digital topics.
