Application FAQs

Having successfully submitted your application documents, they will be forwarded to the responsible recruiter. Once the application period has closed, the recruiter examines all the applications received and makes an initial shortlist. If you are on the shortlist, your documents will be forwarded to the specialist department for further examination. If it is positively received there too, you will be invited for an initial chat.
You can view the current status of your application at any time in your profile.

You are required to submit a complete set of documents, comprising the following: Covering letter and a comprehensive CV with no gaps, plus any other relevant certificates and documents from the past 5 years (such as additional qualifications, languages learned, sojourns abroad).

As a general rule, the earliest you could start would be the first of the following month. The actual start date is agreed individually between the advertising unit and the successful candidate.

As long as the role is published in our job search, you can assume the vacancy is still current.

The advertisements in our job databases are continually updated.

Please only apply for a specific role online, via our careers portal.

Yes, please use the applicant profile you have created for this purpose.

Your responsible recruiter and the department you have applied to. If you explicitly opt to make your profile available, we will be able to search our database using relevant keywords, and could access your applicant profile in this way, too.

You can view the current status of your application at any time in your profile.

Technical FAQs

Yes, you can subscribe to a job mail via our careers portal. You will be automatically notified if a job with your saved search criteria is advertised. Please provide an e-mail address and/or a cellphone number for text messages.

Please send your attachments as PDF, JPEG or TIF files.

You may upload up to 5 attachments of 2 MB each.

Should you wish to amend your documents while an application process is ongoing, please send your amendment request to Jobs@telekom.de, quoting the job ID.

Your profile will remain in our databases for 6 months after your last login. You will notified by mail when this period is about to expire.
