As “Architect (m/f/d) Product and Production” in the B2B Telco department you will define the architecture for the TC Powerhouse by consolidating the existing platforms as well as implementing new state of the art platforms. You will be mainly focusing on two portfolio big bets: Software Defined Everything and Enterprise Communication and Collaboration. In your role as a scout for new technologies you will define a technology roadmap as the basis for the product development of the Portfolio organization. Your further tasks are the following:

  • You will be responsible for leveraging synergies in existing IT systems by optimizing IT systems and processes in the existing fixed and mobile communications environment
  • You will work closely with the Group Strategy Department to develop an update of the Telekom B2B Strategy
  • You will be responsible for the technical exchange with other telco operators in the Telekom group as well as outside Telekom group
  • You will work closely together with the CTO divisions of the strategic partners like Cisco, Microsoft, Huawei etc.
  • You will report to the Chief Architect

You have more than 5 years experience in the Telco business in relevant technical roles such as Architect and/or Solution Design roles. Besides your deep technical knowledge of different access types (fixed, mobile) as well as services you have the following skills:

  • Entrepreneurial thinking with focus on our customers
  • Confidence and presence to deal with customers, suppliers and colleagues at high level
  • Excellent English and German - written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong in discussions and negotiations as well as good analytical and conceptional skills
  • Willingness to travel within the country
  • Part-time possible
