As a global partner of both VMware, Amazon and Microsoft, T-Systems North America is providing services to our U.S.-based and international clients either out of our own data centers or in the public cloud. As we intend to expand our market share, we are looking for highly motivated junior sales personnel with a strong focus on lead generation and progression. Together with a team of Sales Consultants and technical experts who support you along the way you will identify prospect clients and progress leads from initial contact to handoff or supported contract closure.

Work together with international experts in their field on exciting projects with a large variety of companies around the globe. Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Calling on contact lists to identify and qualify potential leads & pipeline
  • Progression of warm leads to more mature stage and handoff to Sales Manager
  • Work with Account Managers to grow new cloud business with the T-Systems top 400 customers
  • Work with our partner channel to identify additional leads
  • Conduct presentations and customer visits to create/raise awareness of services and value proposition with clients
  • Reporting and documentation of progress into sales team and participation in regular cadence
  • Training and personal development to broaden skillset and knowledge
  • Mid-term increase in responsibility of sales cycle
  • Travel up to 25% required
  • Any and all additional work as needed related to the role or client needs

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree CS, business/economics or sales-related studies preferred
  • 2+ years minimum of full-cycle sales-related experience
  • Strong presentation skills, ideally experience in articulating value proposition
  • Knowledge of technology trends in the cloud market (AWS, Azure and/or VMware)
  • A technical background in computer science or related is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First experience in technology/cloud related sales
  • Direct field experience with medium to enterprise sized clients
  • Existing knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and/or VMware vCloud and willingness to close gaps
